What is a Physiatrist?

A physiatrist is a doctor who specializes in rehabilitation after injury, illness, or disabling conditions, such as amputations, arthritis, brain and spinal cord injuries, osteoporosis, stroke, pregnancy, and work-related injuries. Their goal is to decrease pain and enhance performance without surgery.

Dr. Seroussi is on the clinical faculty at the University of Washington, and is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain medicine, and electrodiagnosis.
